In a beautiful space within touching distance of the water in the pastoral agricultural settlement Bustan Hagalil you will find a food studio offering special meals with Chef Idan Rakir for food lovers known as foodies and for private meals in collaboration with the well known site Eatwith, and private events with a personal touch.
The meal takes place around a large dining table facing an open kitchen when the cooking is carried out in front of the guests who can touch the raw ingredients before they reach their plates.
The menu is seasonal and fresh, changes from meal to meal with seasonal raw and local ingredients whereby the majority of the products are purchased in the Western Galilee and include organic crops and fresh fish from the market in Akko.
The idea is to connect between people eating a meal together around one table when they do not always know each other and during the meal a special ambiance is formed of togetherness and friendship.
The meal continues for some four hours, starts with a cocktail and introduction between the guests, within the framework of which you may visit the garden with romantic lighting to talk, get to know each other and become closer and enjoy.
After forty minutes of introductions around the table the opening courses arrive: over baked focaccia, seasonal salads and dips.
The four or five dishes arrive slowly with intervals which enable the diners to relax, laugh, enjoy, hang out, get to know and talk with the chef and see what he is cooking up close.
The superior wine of the Ramat Hagolan Wineries flows like water, between which the guests are invited to partake of chasers, ouzo, Campari, whiskey, Aperol spritz and sparkling water is served to the table when requested.
The dessert which changes constantly is served by the chef on a wooden work island – the guests stand around the work island and like a food orgy everyone takes a spoon and eats as much as they desire.
