From the windows of the Beef Bahar kosher meat restaurant located in Ya’arah one can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Keshet Cave gaping towards the Betzet River.
The restaurant which is timber covered has recently changed owners and they have hired the services of Chef Matan Hamias, a resident of Bustan Hagalil who in the past was the chef of the restaurant chain Bandura and the chef of the restaurant chain Sicilian Pizza and after several years of wanderings in the centre of Israel, he decided to return home to the Western Galilee
The meal at Beef Bahar starts with ten types of salads that are severed with fresh bread; the salads are served in small dishes which are continually refilled according to the diners wishes. The price of the salads is included in the price of the meal.
The menu is impressive and the main courses are generous and two people can share one dish easily. In the list of starters you can find dishes such as: veal sweetbreads on crostini, mushrooms in Panko crumbs, goose liver and onion jam, slices of entrecote on a charred tomato, white and spicy tahini, a wonderful dish of an open organic sabich sandwich and more.
For the main courses you will find: beef burger, lamb kebab, chicken breast, chicken liver, spring chicken steak and steak entrecote, fillet medallions and lamb.
Amongst the specials: a special dish for carnivores called a “whirlwind of meat” which includes entrecote, lamb and goose liver and an abundance of other huge meat dishes which can definitely be divided between two or three diners.
One of the most popular dishes is the shawarma show which is comprised of entrecote meat chopped and served on a halved pita.
