Anat Gold, who was born in Kibbutz Afek, returned a few years ago to her Kibbutz after years of world traveling, and established the Goldie Studio for Yoga and Water Treatment.
Her shapely and flexible body and captivating appearance are not just a result of good genes but also of years of being engaged in Yoga and Watsu – water treatments.
Anat who, among other things, owned a restaurant in Goa, India, learned Yoga with the best teachers in Israel and the world, and teaches Yoga according to the Tri method, where emphasis is placed on spinal flow from the coccyx (tail bone) to the crown of the head; a flow that activates the force of life.
Anat, who also specializes in water treatment “Watsu” and “Water Dance”, treats only women. In cases of a couple’s treatment another therapist joins her, male or female in accordance with the patient’s request.
Water treatments are given in the beautiful swimming pool she manages at Kibbutz Afek, or in guest room adjacent pools.
Guest room pools must be heated in winter, fall and spring. Treatment is given inside the pool in a pleasant, intimate and quiet environment, with the patient wearing a bathing suit.
The patient lies in Anat’s hands with her head resting in one hand and her pelvis in the other, her mouth and nose are outside the water while her ears are submerged in water.
The patient’s eyes are closed, and Anat floats, shakes, presses and releases the patient, creating a feeling reminiscent of returning to the womb: relaxation, release and repose of the body through soft, flowing pleasant motion, generating a sensation of freedom and happiness that enable complete freedom.
Guests can order Anat’s Yoga classes in their guest room or their hotel, or visit her studio at Kibbutz Afek. A class lasts 60 minutes; Yoga classes are available for couples and groups as well.
Anat will be glad to give a Yoga class or Watsu treatments in bachelorette parties, birthday parties or wedding anniversaries.
