The garden spreads over an area of 16 Dunam (~4 acres) and comprises a large lawn in its center where people can enjoy a picnic (fires are not allowed). Birds roam the premises freely, the chirping of songbirds is heard from all directions and the place is engulfed by a feeling of enchanted tranquility that is not interrupted even by the echoes of the adjacent highway 4.
Like many other zoos around the world, here too, animals are distributed according to their natural habitat. Thus the garden has a South American enclosure, an African enclosure, an Australian enclosure and an Israeli enclosure.

Among the animals living here visitors can find the Meerkat (a South African carnivore that according to the sign, lives in packs); the Mara, small rodents, white swans floating carelessly in the pretty water canal, occasionally climbing onto a small island where a Eucalyptus tree grows and spread their wings, splashing water in all directions.
In the Israeli enclosure visitors can find sheep and goats; in the African and South American Aviary different birds. Cute Lemurs also live here alongside the white-nosed coati, the hyrax, the Cape Barren goose, water turtles and fish.
The garden is very well-groomed, and offers convenient walking pathways and benches throughout.
It also comprises a reptilian’s chamber, a petting corner, an aviary and sand boxes for children’s amusement.
Birthday parties may be held in the garden with advance coordination. Social and family events of up to 50 participants may also be held here in a hall with an adjacent kitchenette.
