Shlomit Azati was introduced to silk as a hobby and turned it into a small and successful business for dying silk and producing a variety of silk items. In addition to her daily work at the factory Shlomit conducts a wonderful workshop for dying silk and producing silk items. Workshop participants sit by a table, each one receives a piece of silk and silk colors.

Shlomit teaches how to use the dyes on the fabric and then the creation process begins: participants each select colors according to their own taste and preference, and gently dye the fabric, from which they create a scarf, a picture or a silk accessory.
Finished works are set down to dry, while participants may tour the Kibbutz grounds.
Children can play in the playground; adults can visit the garden and the archeological museum, located in an old house at the center of the Kibbutz, comprising ancient findings from different eras.
