The Banana Beach in Achziv is one of those places that have everything; this mythical strip of sand between Rosh Hanikrah and Nahariya, that can be reached after turning west opposite Kibbutz Gesher Haziv, is a designated public beach.
Immediately upon entering the area visitors will feel the cool air under the gigantic Eucalyptus trees shading the lawns on the premises that offer music, a time-out atmosphere and a 24 hours a day bar and a restaurant. The beach itself provides rescue services, sheds and lounge chairs, and an accessorized night camping grounds just a few dozen yards away from the beach.
Now all that is left for visitors to do is to build their tent in the camping area and for those who choose to stay in the bungalows area, not even that will be required.
The compounds are fenced in and secured. In the camping area guests will find a joint refrigerator, water fountains, hot showers and rest rooms, electricity, lighting and picnic tables. Those who choose the bungalows (couples or families of up to six members) will find mattresses, power and light sockets, sheds and outdoor grill corners. The bungalows can be reached by vehicle and are accessible to the disabled.
Indulgences like Spa treatments, sauna and Jacuzzi are available at the resort village adjacent to the camping grounds; where guests can also find sports courts and a pool table.
Come re-live the Sinai experience without giving up the amenities of a guest room.
