In Akko’s romantic fishing port, in an ancient house, hundreds of years old, you will find a guesthouse, modern, indulgent and beautifully designed when from its balcony you can see the Akko Bay, fishing boats and the ancient port.
A resident of the Old City and the Manager of the Education Division of the Akko Municipality, Sabaa A-Said, realized her dream and established a guesthouse in the ancient family home with three bedrooms all of them en-suite with well equipped bathrooms and toilets.
The three guest rooms have two beautiful public guest areas (you could say a living room) for relaxation, meeting the other guests and sitting together and a spacious kitchen equipped with everything you could need to prepare meals. The spacious and green balcony which encircles the guesthouse and overlooks the port, is surrounded by plants and herbs and it has a barbecue grill
Each of the guest rooms is called after the names of the family’s children: Mahmoud, Haled and Idad.
The guesthouse is beautiful, modern and well appointed, designed by the well known architect Sanan Abed Kadar, a relative of the A-Said family.
The meticulousness of the smallest of details is heart warming; the furniture is modern and comfortable, the beds are spacious with good quality bed linen, the stylish kitchen has a tap and sink that are the last word in design and an impressive dining table.
The guests receive products to prepare breakfast, although many of them prefer to go down to the restaurants in the port or the adjacent market restaurants and eat an Akko-style, local and authentic breakfast.
