12 RZR off-road vehicles await you at the Monfort Lake.
All you need in order to embark on an enjoyable field ride is a valid driver’s license – the insurance is provided by the site.
Each ORV (off-road vehicle) can be ridden by two people, the vehicle is easy to operate, slightly press the gas and the brake pedals simultaneously and you’re on your way to a 1-hour long extreme trip in the region and the mountains that surround the Lake.
The trip includes four-by-four driving, ascents, descents and stops at landscape vantage points.
The trip commences at the RZR’s complex near the Lake, there the drivers are equipped with helmets, wind goggles and a dust mask, all free of charge. It is possible to rent a disposable coverall for protecting the garments from dust at a cost of 10 NIS.
After getting equipped, the fun begins: we enter the vehicles, start the engine and commence to travel in a convoy, escorted by two guides: one at the beginning of the convoy and the other at its end. We climb the mountain in order to view Me’ona, Ma’alot, Kfar Vradim, Ein Ya’akov, Yanuhand Jatt. The road passes through breathtaking sceneries of mountains, thickets, forests and vineyards. We stop at landscape vantage points and receive explanations from our guide with regard to the landscape and the agriculture in the region, both the contemporary agriculture and that which existed in the past when fields of tobacco crops covered the region.
During the stops, the drivers can switch places so that the second passenger can also enjoy the field ride.
Price per couple: 300 NIS per hour.
